The Hugo fire Department began its existence in 1908 and will soon be celebrating its 100th
year of service. Hugo Fire Department currently employs 28 paid on-call firefighters. Those
volunteers leave at a moments notice for incidents which happen anywhere and anytime
within the city limits.
